Azerbaijan will soon forge ahead amid application of one-window system (one-stop shop) for registration of businesses which will save a lot of time and effort for starting business.
Niyazi Safarov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, said the workgroup has submitted proposals to the government.
"In accordance with a presidential decree, the proposals aim to create sustainable platform for entrepreneurship and create favorable climate for business. At present the Ministry of Justice carries out registration of legal entities according to the Civil Code and legislation. After that, legal entities have to be registered by other government agencies. This procedure requires a lot of time and effort. We want to simplify and streamline the registration process. It will make easy to do business. After we established one-stop shop system, a single government body will be authorized to register business entities. We are now discussing which government agency has to be engaged in registration. There is no decision yet," he said.
