EIGHTEEN WORLD BANK-FUNDED PROJECTS UNDER WAY IN AZERBAIJAN

A total of 18 projects worth 537m dollars are being implemented in Azerbaijan with the financial support of the World Bank, Trend news agency reported on 11 September.
This was said at a meeting between Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev and Director of the World Bank's Sustainable Development Sector Peter Thomson, the agency said.
It added that 16 projects worth 450m dollars have already been implemented in the country with the financial support of the World Bank.
