FOUR COUNTRIES SEEK WASTE PROCESSING FACTORY CONSTRUCTION IN AZERBAIJAN

The construction of a waste processing factory in Azerbaijan will be commenced in the first half of 2008, an official said.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development Mikayil Jabbarov said that companies from France, Russia, Austria and Germany were interested in the project and had submitted their bids. He said that the results of a relevant tender would be announced after the bids were approved by the Ministry of Economic Development and the tender commission.
The factory will be constructed in a 20 hectare area allocated in the Balakhany settlement by the Mayor's Office of Baku.
