France recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner told a joint news briefing on Thursday following a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov.
The French diplomat said that his country would continue its activity as one of the three co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group brokering settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict on Upper (Nagorno) Garabagh.
Bilateral and regional cooperation, economic and political relations as well as issues on increasing investments in economy were discussed during the meeting. The two ministers also centered on the issue related to settlement of the Upper Garabagh conflict.
