Azeri power, gas laws to comply with European standards

A tweening project was signed in Baku on Monday between Azerbaijan’s ministry of industry and energy and Germany ministry of economics and technology.

The project to be funded by the European Commission aims to bring national legislation regarding the electric power and gas sectors into compliance with the European Union’s legislation. German specialists will assist their Azerbaijani counterparts in this area.

The project amounting to 1.1 million euros will be implemented for 18 months.
