Kuwaiti emir, Azeri president discuss ties, regional, international developments

His Highness the Emir Shaykh Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Jabir al-Sabah received on Tuesday [10 February] visiting Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his accompanying delegation. Official talks then began between the Kuwait and Azeri sides with the meeting co-chaired by His Highness the Emir and President Aliyev.
The meeting was held in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Shaykh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Shaykh Nasir Al-Mohammad al-Ahmad al-Sabah, and senior officials of the state.
The Azeri delegation accompanying President Aliyev was also present at the meeting.
Deputy Amiri Diwan Affairs Minister Shaykh Ali Jarrah al-Sabah said that the meeting focused on developing the good and growing relations between Kuwait and Azerbaijan, adding that it also focused on regional and international developments as well as topics of mutual interests.
