Iranian foreign minister, Azeri president pleased with ties - TV

On 19 February, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received an Iranian delegation led by the foreign minister and co-chair of the Azerbaijan-Iran intergovernmental commission, Manuchehr Mottaki.
Manuchehr Mottaki passed Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinezhad's greetings on to the Azerbaijani president. The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations. The importance of the Iranian foreign minister's visit in a further expansion of the relations was underlined and the sides said they were confident that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran would develop further.
The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinezhad and asked for his greetings to be passed on to Iran's head of state.
