 Azerbaijani and world cultural heritage exhibited in Vatican

An exhibition titled “The customs in the guard of cultural heritage” is held in the Vatican Apostolic Palace displaying the exhibits of Azerbaijani and world cultural heritages. The exhibition was organized by the embassy of Azerbaijan to Switzerland and Azerbaijan State Customs Committee, the embassy sources told APA.

At least 13 people were killed and 13 wounded when a lone gunman went on a rampage at Baku’s Azerbaijan State Oil Academy early on April 30, Azerbaijani officials said. The alleged gunman, a Georgian of Azeri origin, was among the dead.

Turkey. Georgia, Azerbaijan sign energy agreement

Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan signed a MoU [memorandum of understanding] for the construction of an energy bridge between the three countries, announced Georgia's Ministry of Energy on Friday.
The ministry said the MoU was signed by officials of Azarenerji, Georgia State energy Network, Turkey's Electric Distribution Company (TEIAS) and US Energy Association in Tbilisi.
According to the MoU, the three countries will discuss their energy policies and develop new models for high voltage networks. Under the MoU, initially, the high voltage networks in these countries will be examined and investments necessary for electricity trade and exchange will be determined.
The energy bridge project between the three countries is a joint initiative which will be financed by US Agency for International Development.
