President Ilham Aliyev receives UN Resident Coordinator Bruno Pouezat

Baku, 27 February 2007 - President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the newly appointed United Nations Resident Coordinator in the country Mr. Bruno Pouezat, February 27.
Mr. Pouezat noted he was pleased to start working in Azerbaijan, where he said he had witnessed a great progress achieved under the wise leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
He promised that while in office he will do his best to promote further development of the country.
President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Mr. Pouezat on the new appointment and wished the diplomat every success in his work as the United Nations Resident Coordinator.
The Head of State said Azerbaijan is now on the stage of intensive development, and dwelt on the improvement and construction works being carried out in the country.
