What we do - E-governance and access to information

Capacity Building for the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan Republic | Status: Ongoing

The project is meant to contribute to the pension system reform through improving the managerial and technological capacity of the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan Republic (SSPF). It has helped to automate major business processes in the Fund through increased use of information technologies and training of SSPF staff, set up efficient communication between the SSPF headquarters and local branches and most importantly, establish a strong foundation for introduction of the fully funded pension scheme.

Establishment and Development of the State Register of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan | Status: Ongoing

Based on the existing international experience and modern information and communication technologies, the project is aimed at establishing a single database on the population of the Republic of Azerbaijan through combining all state information systems in one network through the State Register of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Among other things, the project will develop a special applied software program package for the operations of the Service of the State Register of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the project’s executing agent.

National E-Governance Network Initiative Project | Status: Ongoing

The National E-Government Network Initiative will create a National Internet Infrastructure and E-Government Network that can provide secure connectivity for all governmental institutions with the possibility to include other clients, such as the education sector. The project will establish on-line access to government information (web portal) and will pilot six public access kiosks.
