What we do - Local poverty initiatives, including microfinance projects

Institutional Support to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to reduce poverty in the Republic of Azerbaijan through facilitating effective development of domestic tourism (Phase II) -  Status: Ongoing

The project aims to help the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to be better able to raise academic standards of national tourism education system to meet the international requirements, to enhance tourism services, and facilitate employment opportunities. In particular, it envisages support to the newly-established Azerbaijan Tourism Institute and the creation of tourist-information centres and tourism services.
